THE RAPERS are Brunswick, Ohio's premiere source of hard hitting neo-classical power rock with that danceable edge (if such a musical form can exist).
In 1982, the idea for The Rapers was formulated in the mind of Ron "The Raper" Raper while sniffing glue. He began composing songs about one of his favorite hobbies... and we're not talking about softball here! We're talking about rape. Eventually, he would need to assemble a collection of rag-tag musicians to further establish his unique songs. So it was off to the Brunswick bars!
